Simple Ways To Lower Your Blood Pressure

If you have high blood pressure, your doctor has probably told you to exercise more. This doesn't mean you immediately should start running marathons and biking 30 miles a day. Start with simple lifestyle changes, like:

  • Take the stairs instead of the elevator or escalator
  • Park one or two blocks away from your destination, or at least in the outer part of the parking lot
  • Walk to nearby convenience or grocery stores instead of driving

Most doctors recommend 30 minutes of exercise per day. You can split this up in to small increments, and in time, you'll see definite weight loss and lowered blood pressure. Good luck!
